Position Overview

Sunhouse Outdoor Academy is a fully outdoor, year-round program dedicated to providing exceptional nature-based education. Rain or shine, our educators lead immersive learning experiences in the great outdoors. We are looking for passionate, professional individuals to join our team who are excited about outdoor education and committed to child development.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • At Least 2 Years of Full-Time Experience Working with Children
    Experience in group settings such as schools, camps, or childcare programs is required. Candidates must demonstrate strong skills in managing and engaging groups of children.
  • A Love for the Outdoors
    Educators must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions, including rain, cold, and heat. Prior experience in outdoor education or leading nature-based activities is highly valued.
  • Excellent References
    Applicants must provide a minimum of two professional references who can attest to their experience, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Strong Organizational and Communication Skills
    This role requires excellent planning and clear communication with both children and their families. Candidates should be proactive, dependable, and committed to maintaining the high standards of Sunhouse Outdoor Academy.
